Heide Goody and Iain Grant

We’re Heide Goody and Iain Grant - a co-writing duo from the Midlands. We met in a local writers’ group, discovered a shared love of comedy and decided to build our writing careers together.

Since 2011, we've penned over fifty books including the Clovenhoof series, where Satan gets fired and retires to suburban England—with predictably hilarious results. We followed that with the Sam Applewhite mysteries in which violence, crime and comedy mix at the traditional British seaside.

We’ve just unleashed our most explosive project yet: The Festive & the Furious trilogy. It all began when Heide spent two years working as Mrs Claus at a garden centre near Tamworth—and realised just how chaotic festive cheer can get. It felt like a perfect foundation for a trilogy packed with drug-fuelled reindeer, rogue Santas, and elf rebellions.
